round two

It’s been a year since I started this blog in a moment of resolve. The one-year anniversary was like a personal New Year’s Day that’s hard to describe. At the end of a 3-day weekend, I felt like I had enough energy to do better, to pick the work I wanted to do again and do it. These moments pass like the fiery confidence of a New Year’s resolution, but I try to use them to adjust my trajectory if only a little, and use it a bit better each time.

When I started this blog I also started designing a product, and I’m happy to say I made a lot of progress on it this year. Part of my process of writing here is to work out the foundational concepts and what I actually believe in today. All creative process involves destruction, and so it’s important to know what to let go of as much as what new things need to be tried.
